It is a real shame that they took an underplayed champ and reworked him to make him worse off than when he started. To think Shen was taken out of top and forced into bot support because of utility issues and then gimmicked even more makes me a sad top laner.. Bring back old Shen

I've actually seen more Jungle Shen than ever before. And it can be terrifying. I think the new Shen is awesome. But I can understand disliking the fact that he was changed without making him significantly more powerful, I just think it was an excellent choice by Riot.

I honestly don't like how new Shen feels in lane. His skills don't really feel impactful. Not saying they aren't strong, I just don't get the "yeah! I landed that and I'm amazing!" feeling.

This was the same for old Shen for me though.

No, he does seem to be more of a macro champ. His abilities are important, but it's really more about how they interact with team-fights than the immediate effect. He doesn't feel like he deals lots of damage or has much of an effect, but I've played against Shens who really knew how to murder me. They built straight tank and taunted me into their teammates, two autos later, with the percent health damage and the burst from their teammate, I was as good as dead.

Shen feels more like a macro impact champion then a micro impact champion, even though it's his micro impact that enables him to have a macro impact. He's strange, but I like it.

tbh i didn't play Shen since the rework ...

what did they do ... they moved the shield from w to passiv activation. they removed the ranged Q that mostly only was for farming or ranged harassment his hold passiv kind of was moved to his new Q his new w ... 100% dodge chance for own team ..

yes you loose the heal but ... for me the new shen sounds stronger than the old one.

I have no problems with him top? He just isn't meta right now and gets beat by the normal top picks right now. His adjusted abilities can be combo'd together though a do a lot of damage in a 1v1 fight without taking much back
