Aatrox Status
HI, I would like to start this off by asking what your guys' opinions on Aatrox's current state in game. I noticed no work has been done on him in 18 patchs or so. When preseason six hit there were Botrk nerfs which was a core item on Aatrox. Without this item his kit feels lacking and the replacement others are using like gunblade and guinsoo's feel rather weak in his kit. This leaves him with an awkward buildpath where he builds hydra and then feels required to build tank because no other items are gold efficient and offer enough strength. Overall I feel Aatrox is in a weak state and cannot deal with many of the strong top laners in the current meta. He also scales poorly into the late game and feels like only good at split pushing with mediocre escape and engage. I feel that Aatrox is one of the champions that so little people play due to his overall poor state. I don't know if you guys see his kit as unhealthy and are hesitant to buff worrying about a problem like release Aatrox(who i never actually played because i started playing when s4 worlds happened).

will end up in a farm lane but he can help globally his teamates while you have to tp there to help and hes gonna out build you by having free gold in his kit
negate your chance of engaging a teamfight or leaving once shes in your face + if you do get to jump her teamates shes gonna make you recall and by the time you come back she has W again
makes your passive useless because if hes alive when you get back up he saves the channel on his Q while you drain blood then Q+dunks you so you need to never ever make a mistake because once one of you wins you keep the lead (unless jg help one or the other)
