Renekton isn't a mindless champion...right?

Wanna get an idea for what the general consensus is on Renekton's overall skill level. I know his kit isn't demanding to work with, he usually doesn't get more complex for me than recognizing whether an empowered Q or W is better in a given situation, or finding the right spot to E through a jungle wall. I'm just not sure if he's on the same ez street as some other fighters (looking at you, Darius!). Oh, and I'm not limiting this to just Tank Renek or just AD Renek, you can answer based off of any given build.

Most champions are rather simple in execution.

Fortunately, actual skill at the game incorporates far more than champion mechanics.

Simple? Depends on what you mean by simple. He has some clear level of skill required to play him well which is however to be expected of most champs.

If you want me to put numbers to it Renekton would be about a 5 or 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. Garen being a 1 or 2, Jax being about a 4, Riven being a 6 to 9 depending on how hard you go into mastering her canceling animations, Leblanc being a 7 or 8 and Azir and Cass being around an 8 or 9.

I would put Irelia around a 6 or 7 since there is a fair amount of setting up for trades that does often go ignored by non Irelia players

League does not have a Meepo that pushes the skill level of players to a high level of micro management which is why there is no 10.

He has a very high skill cap. Im a got 400,000 mastery on renekton and pretty much play him religiously. At the surface he may look simple but theres a lot more to him than meets the eye.
