What to do if you cant team fight

If team fights start and your team gets completely destroyed every time what should you do instead of team fight make it a 4v5 and split push?

Send your toplaner to splitpush and try smaller skirmishes so you can wait out the gold disadvantage and hopefully grab a couple of objectives.

Lots of ward vision and start picking them off or baiting and ambushing them.

Vision is key when you're behind. The more important and more difficult part is trying to convince your team, nicely, to play safe and play defensively. I've had quite a few game turn arounds that were won because we turtled up and caught up to the enemy team because we were only losing because they snowballed ahead, dont try and force team fights out side of your base, if they're going to take any turret but your base turret, unless you are 100% positive you can stop that turret from being taken with a 1 for 1 trade at most, let them take it until they hit the Inhib turrets, then its do or die at that point. Dont commit to stupid plays like trying to steal a baron in a fight you know you cant win, at the point of the game where you cant even team fight, the only objectives that matter are their turrets and your turrets. Take theirs only when you have 2-3 of them down, and defend yours until you hit that point.
