Soraka's Kit doesn't make any sense.

I had someone on my friends list ask me why i didn't like Soraka's kit, and it compelled me to make a discussion about it somewhere. I mean, it's not just the fact that it's really really bad or really really op, it just...makes no sense at all and I still wonder whats going on with it. I mean with most of the reworks Riot has done has been really good, Sion's rework far exceeded everyone's expectations and riot successfully killed the turbo cancer that was nidalee, but Soraka was just....um?

For one some of the things just doesn't make any sense common sense wise or even lore wise. Soraka was previously a god of healing, that did nothing but heal the sick in wounded. So why in the world can't she heal herself and loses health when she does? Why is she only allowed to gain health herself by hurting others? I mean cmon, lets remember there some music chick can AOE restore a ridiculous amount of health by just playing a few music notes.

I mean apparently she's still pretty strong and is playing a lot in competitive but am I the only one that feels like somethings off with this champ here?
