Why chat restrictions are stupid.
I think that chat restrictions are very bad, Instead of people being nicer, people feel more toxic, because they think wow I can only say a few things, and that makes people very mad so people are more toxic.

I believe chat restrictions are stupid because there is a mute button. If you do not like what the person is saying mute them. Another reason is the ban system takes more into account who is being verbally toxic rather than through gameplay. Seems like riot cares more about sparing someomes feelings and neglecting the integrity of the game. Chat reports need to go.
If they continue to be toxic in chat with a chat restriction they will be banned. They are given a chance to be non toxic. This is the fair way to do it imo.
I wish sometimes I wasn't allowed to talk in chat. Sometimes I say some negative things. It's there to help you play with a mindset of not saying anything unnecessary.
I think chat related offences should lead only to a perma chat restriction. But that's just me.
I think Feeding should be dealt with more severely especially in ranked, and should result in specifically Ranked bans.
But since bad players are equally likely to spend money as good players Riot punishes feeders not even 10% of the time.
All this is my personal opinion. I think if one game of flaming is enough to warrant a chat ban, one game of feeding in Ranked should warrant a Ranked ban.
