Does league have too much cc??

I feel like this comes up at least once a year, before I begin however I fear I must warn you that I'm an extremely casual player who attempts to only play this game for fun as I don't have much time in my day to actually become any good at it. Im more of a wood division player who just enjoys the game during free time, Im not Challenger or diamond tier or even ranked at all lol. WIth out referencing or looking at what each champ has, Id like to list off CC in this game by champ and what they have and we can discuss if CC has gotten out of hand in this game. Below is my list, I haven't played every champ so Im going based on my knowledge of them so if Im wrong or slightly off and you feel the need to let me know, please do.

Lets keep in mind that I know some of these champs are highly skill based and some cc isn't so much of a crowd control as it is singular champ control but for the sake of argument we'll lump them together.

Total current champs = 134 Total CC = 181 Total Champs without CC of any kind = 6

Stuns/freeze = 45 Knock up/back/front = 52 Snare = 10 Push back = 3 Silence = 6 Slow = 54 Taunt = 4 Pull = 6

Some of my numbers may be off due to me maybe not fully understanding the difference so I tried to write every thing down as best as I could tell them to be. Personally, I think the amount of cc in this game is out of control, some take skill to use at the right time and make champs fun to play since you have to really time it right while others are just over the top (Veigar gate). Let me know what you guys think, ps. I know Im bad hahaha, but they keep gearing the game towards higher level players so all the champs I enjoyed using get nerfed into the ground so that higher level players don't abuse them as much.

It's not about hoe much CC there is total in the game. It's how much of it you see in each individual game. So your calculus is bad.

Let's say Your team is Garen Zed Khazix Ezreal Alistar . Ok not the best comp ever but you see these comps in bronze a bunch.

Then the numbers look like this: Slows: 2 silence: 1 stuns: 1 (delayed) knockups: 1 displacements: 1

total catch skills: 1 total disengage skills: 2 total "fight control" skills: 3 (total - the ones used for engage or disengage)

Also kind of surprising there's so few unique hard CCs (silence, taunt, pull) and it's more about the stunes and knockups (...Must be Yasuo's doing). A lot of them are skill-shots which would make sense, how many are targeted? That would make for an interesting fact.

Just for information, its a game based on 5vs5, not 50vs50 so saying that their is too much cc is irrevelant... What you should complain about are overloaded kit that has everything ( Best exemple would be Camille They are cutting her sustain a bit tho)

I have differing thoughts on this:

When I dive into a fight, get locked up for 2 minutes and whittled down, yes the game has too much CC...

When my team is fighting an enemy and they start running away with 5% health and nobody can do anything, no the game seems like it doesn't have enough.

Every other time I don't even notice. ;)

Not only it has too much CC but the slows are out of control. Like everything slows you! I seen myself get hit with abilitys that dont have slows but I see my moment speed go down, like wtf... I really wish they buff Tenacity & make some Tenacity like counter for knocks ups to....
