Defensive Buff From Dragon or Baron? or Maybe Buff Defensive Items

Because most of the buffs from jungle monsters (including dragon and baron) are offensive and add more damage stats to players, Tank's health drops pretty fast in the team fight so that Tank can't really tank in the team fight. Tanky jungle and tanky top become weak in most of the game I experienced(gold 1 rank). Assassin top and jungle are really over powered in this game. I really hope riot could make some changes on this either on buff defensive items or give some sort of defense buff from dragon or baron( like increase armor and MR on dragon buff)

For the baron buff, if you don't have a group of minions pushing to enemy turret, that minion buff is really useless. Especially, when your team is 5k-8k gold behind while enemies push their lanes to your inhibitor turret, one baron steal doesn't change anything. Your team still doesn't have the capability to fight back or win the game. However, the 5th dragon buff seems so much better than baron buff now. Even you down like 7k gold, 5th dragon buff can give you the capability to ace enemy team and win.

my personal view is to make baron buff to buff all of your minions and doesn't have to be near a champions with baron buff. Minion with baron buff will have some stats increase but still weaker than super minions. Additionally, with increase AP and AD for baron buff, maybe give some AP and AD penetration to players as well.

For the dragon buff I suggest: 1st buff increase damage to minions and jungle monsters and movement speed (trade off between early game farming and ganking) 2nd buff increase health and mana and energy regain 3rd buff increase AD and AP ( old 1st buff) 4th buff increase 25% armor and MR 5th buff true damage to champions plus additional damage to constructions for 3 mins

this just some of my opinions, I really hope Riot can see this and think about it over all I love this game and just want to make this game better and more fun.

Having the offensive bonus first is best because it makes it easier to come back from not having dragons. You only need one dragon to stay competitive now.

Otherwise, if the dragons gave defensive buffs, it would make it harder to come back from not having dragon, because it would make it so squishes are harder to burst.

Maybe if one dragon buff gave a bonus health increase, so as not to buff people who arnt building health. That would make some sense.

Yup I stopped as well I used to play naut, shy, and other like them but no point, % dmg, Braum, kiting free mobile is too much for tanks

Definitely not. Tanks are awesome. You just need the right mindset. Tanks are supposed to be about mindlessly going at the enemy and living, they are about playing smart. Your goal should be to disrupt the enemy. You have to time your engagement correctly, or you wont do well.

Back when the new jungle was being tested on the PBE, one of the dragon buffs used to give increases to armor and MR, but it got removed. I think the main issue with having Baron and Dragon provide defensive buffs is that they're both meant to allow a team to close the game faster: Dragon's all about dealing more damage to everything and everyone, and Baron's all about sieging the crap out of the lane you're in. A defensive buff may make your team tougher to kill, but doesn't actually encourage you to go out and wreck stuff on its own.

The other potential issue here is that a defensive buff on top of offensive buffs may make it difficult to recover when behind in Dragon stacks: even a team with 4 Dragon buffs will die to a team with zero Dragon stacks if they get caught or dived, and that's good because it means the losing team can turn the tables and start increasing their own offensive power. A team that deals and takes more damage is just more difficult to deal with overall, regardless of the situation or the strategy the losing team might come up as a reaction, so it's not really conducive to recovery.

A defensive buff cancels the dmg buff thus fells like no buff

Baron still important. Especially when you up against major clearing champs like ziggs
