I've been playing league for 7 years... i only managed to get 4 gemstones... i just find it crazy there are really cool skins out there like the Hextech Renekton coming out but just impossible to get... even if i spend a few hundred dollars i will probably just get 1 or 2 gemstones. no guarantees... many friends spent that much only to be disappointing in the end

Can you guys give more options for gemstones or a drop rate better than 3.6%... or make skins 5 gemstones not 10!!! i need to buy many more chest and play few more years (10 years) ??? to MAYBE get one skin...makes no sense...

I get the part that the skins are rare... i like that but there's rare and then there impossible to get lol

There are three items in the Store right now that come with Gemstones. They cost a ton of blue essence (50k, 75k, 100k). You can only get one of each. I guess that with planning, one could have accumulated 50k+BE during the Worlds event, by getting 5000 tokens and converting them all to Random Champion Shards. Then, in April, you can do it again.

But if you've been playing for 7 years, then you should be swimming in BE, so go get them...

They aren't supposed to be easy to get without spending lots of money. They're extra rewards for players who spent lots on Hextech loot.

I've been playing for about a year and i've gotten 6 gemstones so far.

you get gemstones from leveling up. when i got to 150 I got a gemstone. so every 100 levels you get 1 i think.

Lucky you.... I only got 2 Gemstones in total. My last one was one year ago.

i have gathered like 12 of them because of the blue essence shop a bit of luck and other occations and i dont know what to do with them, because i find none of the skins appealing.

the hextech renekton is pretty good i guess.

I've gotten 13 gemstones so far and I've only spent like $100-150?
