it would make the game so more fun and competitive like pings arnt enough and typing is to much work just add voice chat almost every game has it now and league is a team based game and really needs it (include a mute button for toxic people) or a system to voice ban or ban them

I may hurt the sentiments of a few snowflakes here who would rather complain about toxicity instead of muting the toxic player, but for the rest of us we would love to have this feature.

the mute button can only be used AFTER harm is done so the mute button doesn't solve the problem.
the person has already changed by virtue of having anonymity on the internet, ever been to gamecoms? you don't see any people randomly hurling insults at someone because hey guess what, in real life, there are consequences to that! but there may not be on the internet so they become a different person on the internet and so they feel validated to act like an asshole because there may not be consequences, but just because there aren't consequences doesn't mean it's okay to act like that

this isn't about being kind but about being a decent human being and not trying to hurt people for no reason, but clearly this is beyond you and you have been hurt so much that you think it's the norm, fine, go live your damaged life but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to or want to live like that.

With enough reports the player should be inspected by support and then punished for their actions if they did something wrong. Or they could bring back something like the tribunal. And also it should allow players to just opt out voice chat all together.
I don't think it should be implemented in normal because it isn't a competitive environment, people will be toxic because of the "it's just a normal" mentality. In ranked I can see it be a good idea though.
