It takes 30 minutes to get into a game that last 15 minutes. What is this??

If you're talking about the new matchmaking, I can say that I tried the suggested normals, but nothing happened. So I canceled and queued for ranked, and waited about 5 minutes and no match. Now, I've canceled, queued for ranked, and chosen "fill." Still no game. Nor have I even seen a single player join my group or whatever.

I'd sure like to play a game of LoL one of these days.

Okay, I finally got to play a game, and I have to say I like the new system a lot. Really innovative stuff!
