I don’t know if it is because of her but I queued up for 9 games today and not once have I got support(my primary pick).

You can support from other lanes... I've done it many times the only diff is you cs more and have a bit more dmg or hp so you can get your build faster and get away with more.

Pick mid and work on supporting your jungler more and spotting the enemy jungler.

Man even G2 and FPX did it this week in game one with Naut and Pyke.
