Anivia's E already only "crits" when the ult reaches it's max size (1.5 seconds) {or her Q obviously} so it's not just an instant R>E like it used to be. Also her Ult E combo wouldn't do an instant 2k damage, since for you to reach that much damage you'd need the target to basically be in the ultimate for about 3+ seconds since the first 1.5 to 2 seconds of her ult does very little damage until it gets maxed sized.
The combo takes a little bit more effort and skill so it's not just press R and E and deal a lot of damage, now you have to drop ult under them + wall behind them, then throw out a Q when you see which direction they go and then after the 1-2 seconds, use your E. There is more counter play to it because if you stop her ult before it completely forms then her damage drops significantly and she loses most of her kill pressure. Also her combo has a higher CD then 10 seconds, because you need your wall to really force enemies to stay in your ult and that has a 17 second CD.
And mobile champions are insanely annoying for Anivia to fight since they could just dash through the wall and avoid Anivia's combo all together. In most cases with mobile champions, Anivia basically has to sit there and wait until they jump on her to really have a chance to fight people, unless they are easy enough to bait their escape early but that isn't all the time.
She doesn't need a rework because you don't like to fight her, she is fine the way she is now and I honestly don't know how much this preseason is going to change so it's best to wait and see what comes with the new mastery or any items before making any changes imo.
