Useless Runes

Browsing through the rune page, some of them are painfully obviously useless. But there is another set that is entirely useless without necessarily appearing as much.

% health seals.

Mathematically speaking, if you managed 5k health, these become efficient (.005*5000 = 25), which is almost the same as the scaling hp runes (24 at 18), that doesn't require your champion to stack health.

Is this supposed to be a trap for stupid people?

No one even gets them because they have never been considered good. If they were say 1% HP then they might be worth considering on some champs like mundo.

But no one said all the runes were actually good such as the .28 AD glyph

I wish the useless runes were made at least somewhat less useless. I hate the ones like quint of scaling armor that only give 6.84 armor or 6.66 for a scaling mr quint, which is barely any more than you get from the non-scaling version to the point where I don't think there's any reason to ever using the scaling version. And some of the stats are just completely useless like mana and scaling mana. They just don't give enough for anyone to care. And some like Glyphs of attack damage/scaling attack damage just give so little that there's no way they could be worth using.

Its stronger than scaling health at low levels and stronger than flat health at high levels

It even has the potential to be stronger than scaling health

Overall, it is not as awesome as everyone hoped they would be for mediocre health stackers and only provides marginal gains over scaling for pure health stackers

However it is not 100% useless
