Is ryze incredibly op or am I just bad?

So yeah, pretty much that. Ryze could just spam his abilities and abuse the mao on my team, when I tried to gank he could easily 2v1 us even when he wasn't even ahead and we landed all our abilities and did everything perfectly.

Soooooo is it just me being a noob, or is ryze seriously op right now?

And if he is, why? just why riot? lol One would think people would notice that on PBE before it came out on the real game. I just lost a ranked to ryze doing literally everything, his team was pretty bad, but he could single handedly carry them so easy it made mi kinda mad =( And I don't tend to get mad at games.

I hate to say it, but i think you might just be bad. Ryze is still a big deal late game. But that's due to the fact he's a hypercarry. But if you're getting trounced by him early game, yeah that's just you being bad. He's not that difficult to beat. You just have to be aware of rune prisons range. I suggest playing a couple of games with him just to be better familiar with the range of his abilities.

I've 1v2ed early as Volibear in lane before. The key is minions. Did you gank when there were a bunch of minions stacked up? Minions believe it or not hurt quite a bit early game

Anyways Ryze was nerfed hard this latest patch, so I doubt it's him
