Mages Mana re-work scrapped. Yea, is wasn't the smartest move to tweak the game play of mages without first address the other major issues first. We will be coming back to this after later if it still needs addressing.

For the better part of a decade we have mostly been focusing on a hand full of mages. Starting today we will be looking at the left behind ones.

These mages have seem to be at a places that make them only viable if they have the playstyle of assassins or controlling the enemy so they can't do anything. Sometimes, they have a combination of both. Not saying they are too weak or too strong, but we were too lazy to correctly adjust their spells and effect. Annie isn't bad but the whole play style of flash instant kill or be killed just isn't fun for anything. Then Heimerdinger wow who doesn't want to beat your head against the wall while playing him. So we will be looking at these mages now to add more interactive playstyles to help but them and their lane enemies out. Again, less instant burst and more interactive game play. Instant burst will now be moved to assassins. Not saying some mages might not have high damage just there needs to be a separation between the two.

item 3089 its called a death cap not straw hat. So we can changing it. cost lowered to 3400 it now has 100 ap spells do 35% more damage we are still debating the build and if we need a % damage item that builds into it.

Marksmen Is pains me to say this but right now there is no reason to bring another carry that isn't a marksmen. This is mostly an AD issue but we think ADC's are the root of the problem. (I guess after we looked at everything else first... wish the boards would have said something... oh wait)

Crit is now changed. It will only add 25% more damage. This will scale to 50% at level 18. Crit value will also be increase gold wise.

item 3087 damage is halved for range.... come on is a sword... what are they going to throw is at you? item 3031 Unique passive is removed for ranged. and melee only item 3094 item 3085 item 3087 movement speed changed to 7% on all but its now a unique passive.

Tanks One of the major problems with tanks is damage. If they don't have enough of it then they can't lane. If they have too much they can lane but do too much to champions. Since tanks in general have CC to help there playstyle we think this isn't bad. Instead, we will be cutting back the base damage on their abilities. But ,will be adding adaptive damage to minions from building tank gear. (might be looking at other types as well) Building Armor will add AD and MR will add AP. We are exploring wither its better to add it to abilities or once they are cast you get it for a short time. This might address the issues with tank support crowding out other support and tanks damage to champions in general. But still allowing them to farm and do what tanks do..... Tank.

bruisers We will be looking into make items and effects melee only or extra power to melee. We have given items to help melee out but they just seem to be broken when on ranged champs. Right now range has safer play and more damage. We need to address these issues.

Assassins Yep, you have been screwed for a while. That CC and shields are really hurting you. You can't find anyone to lane against because you trade too well. Therefore, wave clearing past your spikes and rendering you as a mini adc without range. "burst" and "instant burst" should be the hallmarks of your class. So, we will be moving burst to assassins only. (with a few mages possibly) Mobility is also a trademark of assassin. Therefore, the same thing will be done. Most mobility will be on assassins and will be "cut back" from other champs or they will be made into assassin class. We want a defined class rather than a catch all type of thing. This will give you a team presence because you will carry the only burst / mobility. (but for a few other champs) Making you the prime person to help or defend as you "assassinate your target".

shields Shields are too strong. Will be removing offensive power with the shields. Janna no longer will add AD with the shield. We want them to be defensive rather than offensive. Another possible thing is we might make at % of the damage go back to the shield caster if cast on an ally. We are still looking at the changes. We want to correct the shields rather than add some gimmick work around that might cause other issues.

Small Patch / Large Patch Who the F... cares. We are dedicated to fix issues. So are going to patch as large or small that we need to. If you need to fix a lot of things we aren't going to say soon* or give some crap answer like the patch is a small one and we can get to it later. NOPE, we are going to do right by you and fix it. Gone with the old and staying till job gets done.

damage too high all damage is reduced by 15% to champions. Will be looking to see who needs buffs.

Win Rates Sure they don't tell the whole story, but when combine with play rate, they can tell us which champs are stronger. If a champ has higher than a 3% play rate and 51% win rate nerf bat will be swinging. We won't be buff champs with weaker win rate until we see what the outcome of the nerfs. A 1% play rate and 53% win rate might now be that bad because of mains and counter picks. But a 15% play rate and 53% win rate is just dumb and event LeeSin can see they need a swing from the bat.

Sure, I said I wasn't going to post anymore. But, I feel the play base needed to see what REAL gameplay thoughts looked like. Feel free to add your thoughts so we can bring them into your discussions to make the game better for all.

Copy/pasting a thread from another board isn't helping. All you are doing is doubling the workload of responding to both. More likely than not this thread will just get 100% ignored. There is no point
