Why did I have to patch twice?

Just downloaded the Tahm Ken h patch, which took surprisingly long for the file size, and as soon as I logged into the game, the loading screen was still the eke loading screen. After logging in, everything was extremely slow. I closed out the client, and now I have to download the patch again.

Anybody ever have anything like this happen?
