Is it normal to have a losing streak?

I'm just curious as to what people have to say. Is it normal to have a really good winning streak, get into gold 5, cheer, and then go on a horrendous losing streak. I don't do bad. I usually do decent on my bad games, but I also have been having bad luck even with a great performance sometimes. By bad luck I don't mean afk's, just everybody feds and loses.
