What do I do Mid Game?

I'm a mid/top main in Silver 1 and throughout my ranked games, it's always this gargantuan cluster fuck of teammates grouping around not doing anything. Early game, most of the time I get a lead on against my mid-laner. Farming, roaming slightly to bot to gank, warding, etc. But when it comes to mid-game (Around lvls 10-16) and continuing to late-game, I can't farm anymore because my team and the enemy team are all grouped at mid. I would like to go top or bot, but if my teammate gets caught, then that leaves a sad team fight without me. If any higher elo player could give me advice, it'd be much appreciated!

on a serious note: try to be more influencial in the early game by roaming and geting kills in other lanes as of mid/late game, know when there is a low chance of a fight and then go farm, u can also ping your team. and try to be more influencial in teamfights, if you're the fed one, don't go first since you're the only one with good enough damage, let your team go in first and then you can deal damage more safely.
