Ok,I'm just curious and I need a good explication on how this thing happened. So,I was watching NB3's stream and I saw he was in a game,so I checked the teams overall And i observed this http://imgur.com/bc5TZRK A regular low-diamond game,with a high-MMR Plat 2 (NB3) there But wait...there's a freakin' silver 3 blitz in a diamond game I'm just speechless right now
Cubíx1 votesI mean I havent looked up the player but it could be that he just recently went back into ranked after being a high rank last season, did poorly in placements and was placed in silver, but his past ranks stay relative. or another guess is his primary was support and the queue time took too long so it just reached out and grabbed any support player.

Probably the first case I've just looked for his MMR and he had ~2k MMR

Well Riot has been messing up all their ranked queues and people have been defending it with muh mmr does not equal rank
the only time a player with higher mmr is supposed to be placed in your ranked game is when they're still within your division (you got high mmr for gold 3 okay put in some gold 1 players) But no. When I was in Silver 2 myself I got PLAT V-IV players in my matches to PROMOS but I'm nowhere NEAR PLAT ELO
The system has gotten worse thanks to Dynamic queue, that's it.
