Does anybody know what is in Graves' pocket?

It's featured in both his old and new splash art, but i couldn't find any mention of it in his old lore neither in the burning tides story. The reason why i think it could hold something interesting inside is because in his new art it also has a keyhole which maybe indicates something of value is inside, and also makes me question where the key is, perhaps its not with graves anymore. I hope they will explain it when they visit bilgewater again. For now we have to settle that it is a cigar box.
