Cho'Gath question
Where do you think he is best played top or mid? And if top ia better as ap, tank or off-tank

i haven't played him in a while but i think he's gonna make a come back with the colossus mastery and tank meta coming back.
he's definitely a top laner, a good pick if you have an ad mid too. i would probably do roa, visage, and ibg or frozen heart as his core items. then maybe rylais, abysal or maybe even a liandrys if you want some ap. or a sunfire, dead mans, warmongs for a full tank build. kinda depends on the match as to what you need to build.
full ap is a terrible way to go on him, you have no mobility so you cant really get to them to do dmg. though if you get really ahead wits end and maybe even a nashors can be ok on him.

Top, AP into tank.
top, off-tank/AP Bruiser. Build a couple damage items mixed with tank items. You need some AP to be a relevant damage threat, but you're also melee and immobile and because of your massive ratios a little AP goes a long way, so build pretty tanky.
He is probably best played as a mid laner because his top lane match-ups are almost always going to destroy him early game, especially in the current meta. If you are playing him mid, go almost full AP with the usual tanky AP items (RoA/GLP, Abyssal, Rylais, etc).
Having had quite a few successful games with him, I'd say the best build is AP-tanky items: RoA, Rylais, Abyssal, Zhonya, etc.). I rarely go for pure AP items like Rabaddon or Void Staff because you still need to be a tank before anything else. For the boots it depends, if I'm doing good I got for CD Boots, otherwise for defensive boots. And for the lane I can't say, I only played him top. I think top is better, as most midlaner will be able to poke you to death.
