Trolls and low priority Q's

When I go to enter a match and I call my position I expect that others will fill other positions. When other players decide that they will troll through the game, it makes me not want to play. It's a waste of time when defeat is almost certain. When I ask them to change, they lock their position. I quit because I do not want to waste my time in a 30-60 minute match when my team wont be a team. Why am I penalized when I choose to leave a match that clearly, would not have been any fun to play? Shouldn't the player who was trolling be at fault?

Based on your comment your just as bad of a troll. If you want a certain champ in a certain position then go play team builder, that's why it exists. But writting a post complaining that you and another player both call a position is idiotic, your just as guilty as they are especially when you say "I expect that others will fill". Well take your own advice and fill if you're both fighting over the same lane.

Almost every game I enter, everyone calls their lanes immediately upon entering champ select. Which leaves me stuck at support or filling what is available. If I call jungle and select a champ and am all ready to go, then someone else locks in jungle(or whatever) how am I at fault?

Because it's first come first serve. You did not enter the room first, or you did not call out the lane you wanted first. Therefor you take whatever is left. In normal games I almost always get the role I want. Pay attention when you enter the queue, and be ready to call your role.

You're at fault because you're that player that accepts late(the usual excuse is they were in a skype call), then after everyone has called they say something like, "I'm not being support again." That's your fault that you're always that role, not ours. If you call jungler first, and someone auto locks, then yeah they are trolling.

If you're the type of player that cannot sit still for 20 or 30 seconds, then do team builder.

If you play blind pick, it's pretty much a free-for-all. You can try to discuss it with people, but there's nothing stopping anyone from locking in whatever they want.

If you want a less crazy picking experience, either play Draft Pick or Team Builder. Or be prepared to wait out a lot of dodge timers. If anyone who didn't get what they wanted in blind pick could freely dodge, games would never start.

I've read a lot of your posts and you seem to know what you are talking about, please don't be ruse. I am a new player and I'm just trying to see if this is an reoccurring problem. I don't call and insta-lock, ever. What is the best response to this? I'm not a strong laner yet, I've been working on it. It just becomes a pain when people don't play as a team and with me having to sit and farm under tower, I'm not learning anything.

this is 100% correct. what do you learn being forced a role you cannot play well. and always get stomped. people just say "GET GUD" but this is such a patsy way of addressing the problem. this community is filled with more troll, toxic, and straight FAKER wannabes then any other community. its quite sad the riot ignores it all for higher elo players.

what about the people pre level 30? they can only play blind pick in PvP. you answer the question to level 30s but what about the lower levels who can only play blind.
