As a shaco player i find one key problem with , his JIB's. i don't think they need a buff but... they get broken to easily at times, even accidently (usualy by aoe). i think the best change to shaco would be to give his boxes a health bar like the ones wards have just so they have staying power later in the game. nothing worse than your only cc being destroyed buy tiamat, or hydra, or certain champs aoe. especially when its not even on purpose.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

he's likely going to get a major rework since one of their main goals with the assassin rework is to give assassins healthier gameplay. The stealth mechanic in and of itself is incredibly unhealthy.

that may be true in certain cases but, how many times have you seen a failed gank by shaco or eve that gets them killed. or the fact that stealth champs tend to be squishy even compared champs like lucian, and pink wards still destroy the gank potential when used properly. still love the cheeky bastard. besides a shaco without decieve is just, well master yi in a way.

A Master Yi without steroids or slow imunity or heals or gap closers.

Deceive is core to Shaco. Riot already mentioned that even if they decided to do a complete rework on his kit, Deceive would still exist as a non ultimate ability.

the problem with stealth is that it leaves a lot of people thinking there's nothing they could do to prevent that death. you can drop a pink or use red trinket, but it's still not a healthy mechanic.

I dont think riot would remove stealth as a mechanic. They may alow for more items to counter it but it will probably always be there. its a big part of alot of games. what would the game be if all assassins were, dare i say face roll masters. Akali Katarina
