it sucks this game is in a point that many champions are unplayable, crit changes, scuttle changs, i cant climb with any champ i want anymore (not to challenger but diamond ?) u have to play meta champs, put so much to learn them ? and then probably another game changer patch and they are not playable ? it is not even play time, i play a lot daily over 8 hours but even with playing you cant be good at game, it actually needs to study to be successful, if i was able to study shits 8hours daily i was a chess master or i was studying in harvard instead playing ur shit balanced game, unbelieveable unfun game, needs to study all day about champs that are not fun for you and their mechanics to enjoy game, it is not at all enjoyable, u cant even hide, i cant pick fucing jarvan and hide from xin zhao u have to go and fight over scuttle game was so more fun to play older, cant even think to playing it, i actually feel more fun to study chess openings and play chess.com with cheaters rather than playing league of legends, literally cant even think to play, im ready for study but not playing lol, i do anything run around house to park for 4hours but not playing this game, super negative experience everytime i play the game

You can still climb with anything if you're good with it.

You think this is bad? Try playing Dota 2 where you need to know the ins and outs of every single character in the game just to even play, let alone play AS any of them.

Here is how to get arround this. Pick up the newest champion/rework. It will be a balanced champion for exactly 24 hours, and then riot hotfixes that thing to a beyond broken state. And they won't be nerfed until every single player bought it including 2 skins, which takes arround 3-4 months, in some cases longer.

(Ofc there will be some riot typicall nerfs like "increase cd by 0.25", but those don't matter anyways) And after the 3-4 months, when significant nerfs arrive just pick up the next rework/champ. You are always playing meta champions without having to adapt too much.

(I hate myself for maining zoe, but I don't have the time to study every single patch either)

Meta changes too fast. You're gone on vacation for two weeks and when you come back the entire game is changed. Riot needs to stop with their bullshit.

OP its not as bad as you make it sound.

As long as your main champ isnt currently top of the line or the bottom then you can climb fairly well.

Just a few days ago i played 4 games on Shyv for instance just because i wanted to try the jungle out a bit once it calmed down, Shyv is currently a t4 jungler on OP.GG and at that time she had a 49,5% winrate and 1,5% playrate.

I got thrown into the tier 1 kindred x2, 1 tier 3 nocturne and a tier 2 trundle, and that troll even counters shyv a bit.

What actually happened?

I stomped both the Kindreds by means of high early aggression, i set Noc´s jungle on fire and put him in a bottle and actually managed to fight the troll evenly despite him getting ahead of me.

' So what am i trying to say?

When in doubt, just play something you are comfortable with as long as said champ isnt garbage, as long as you go smoothly you are bound to get the job done^^

Provided you are not hard countered like an enemy aatrox trying to 1v1 my shyv in a splitpush, man did he regret that when it cost him an inhib, or the Syndra who thought she could stop me from killing her with a zhonya while alone xD

So OP you should just ban whatever you dislike playing against and play whatever you feel good about^^

If you don't have very high innate mechanical skill or develop it actively, it takes a great deal of effort to be good at this game consistently beyond playing what you like. It means understanding the meta, and analyzing patch changes even when you weren't active yourself during the phase shifts that occur frequently. This keeps it an evolving game which doesn't become too stale, however it comes at the cost of slowly collapsing its own balance and changing into something that is no longer recognizable as the same game that encouraged values or playstyles that appealed to the individual(s) in question; who do not appreciate the direction and expansion changes that have stacked to create this evolution.

I agree with your statement that LoL requires an increasing amount of learning, because the game is getting more and more champions but that is a problem for new players.

With everything else I absolutely disagree and I think you are finding excuses.

If you don't enjoy the game, be reasonable and do something else instead of starting to hate it. If you want to win more, try to analyze your games better, especially what you could do differently. For example there are 2 scuttle crabs that spawn at the same time and nobody forces you to fight Xin Zhao to get one of them, that is entirely your decision.
