who has been restricted for more than 80 games? i mean i have learned not to be toxic but my friends have told me that im as toxic as a nuclear waste sight? i have been restricted for about a year because i keep getter restrictions that have stacked up. I just think that char restrictions are ineffective because some people will learn and other wont, also if you are restricted you cant talk so you get reported for failing to communicate with team.

I absolutely think that chat restrictions are too lax. Permanent bans should come quicker. I also understand that this is a business, and no one makes money by banning clients, so I understand why Riot is a little Diet Coke on their banning.

What makes you think the restrictions are too lax? What does an ideal chat log look like to you? The things honestly are not hard to get, and they really are unpleasant to play with. I haven't had one in a few weeks, and I still get anxiety for the blue pop every time I open the client. They're that bad.

I've never received "the pop up" for being reported - no idea what it even looks like. I've been playing since S3 and to my knowledge, never been reported. Why? I don't flame and I don't respond to flame bait.

I had a friend who would flame, just for fun, be absolutely toxic as hell for literally no reason whatsoever. He would tell kids to suck blood out of a dead rabid raccoon ass and ish like that, for no reason. Very happy he stopped playing league altogether. He was chat restricted 5/6 months in the time I played with him. He was, to my knowledge, never banned permanently, he claims he quit the game. He is a prime example of someone that should've been permanently banned - toxic for zero reason and never truly punished for it other than losing his ability to speak in games.

That didn't answer either question. I get that you'd have liked for your friend to be banned, but there's a difference between that and setting policies for everyone. If that's your only limit, then chat restrictions would be laxed, not increased.

i get one at lest every other game cause i guess im "toxic" ..... im srry if you dont like how i play plz either get over it or mute me. The worst ones are when u dont gank with your team and you go back so they report you for harassment. i got one a them yesterday. blue pop up. get reported for harassment when you do talk is a good one too.

I dont try to be toxic but others think i am toxic. i dont know what other opinions are or what they seem fit as toxic. I do say i can be sarcastic at times but come on if you really feel as tho im an a hole just mute me. they have that button for a reason.

To my understanding a chat restriction only limits the number of times you can chat within champ select/ in-game with that assumption: first thing you should say in chat is that your are chat restricted after that only say things that are objective related there is no reason for you to get "failed to communicate" unless you are not using your few chats well.

yes you are limited frm your chat. 1 chat ever 4 minutes and you start out with 3 or 4.. max is five. You tell your team your chat restricted ok, then you go to play bot lane adc. you ask for a gank and dont get. you ask you support to either play safe or agressive and make sure to land your sill shots. ( down to 1 chat left). then you try to help either top r mid by saying something like how they should engage or come gank or even tell someone that there adc when top or you saw there jungler ganking mid. now your out of chats and have to wait 4 minutes. a lot of stuff can happen in that four minutes. lost turrets dragon is taken baron is slayen, they are split pushing. So plz tell me you think chat restictions are a good thing.

Solid waste of a chat. Because otherwise the support has no idea he should actually TRY to land his skill shots? I hate adcs who do this. Hook their ADC NOW!!!!

If your own friends think you're toxic when you think you aren't, then you certainly have issues.

"Just mute me" is a common fallback for people with attitude problems who want to put the responsibility on other people. Don't be an ass, and they won't have to mute you. Just because they can mute you doesn't mean they shouldn't report you.

It seems weird that the system would place a "Failed to Communicate" report in the same catagory as a "Verbal Harrasment" report. I doubt they would implement the same punishment for both.

Just because people can mute you does not give you the right to be offensive. People have just as much right to not be offended by your speech, as you do say offensive things (as long as you don't have intent to harm).
