Wind Wall and you: Is this a projectile?
Since there is a lot of concerns and ignorance about Wind Wall interaction with certain skills I'll try to make a list of the most debated and unusual skills that get blocked/destroyed or not by Yasuo's Wind Wall with a small explanation.
Notice that this is not space for suggestions and balance discussion but merely an informative list that will get updated with provided feedback if I happen to miss some.
Here we go
First of all the definition of a projectile: "A projectile is any object thrown into space (empty or not) by the exertion of a force. Although any object in motion through space (for example a thrown baseball) may be called a projectile, the term more commonly refers to a ranged weapon".
Note that Wind Wall doesn't consider moving champions as projectiles (dashes and charges are unaffected) and that ray-like skills are not affected either (Lux R, Xerath Q).
Wind Wall starts as Yasuo uses it so it will block projectiles even during his "load up" time but only if they impact on it's current location and not the final one.
The following projectiles are described as passing over or under Wind Wall and do not interact with it:
Ekko's Parallel Convergence
Nautilus's Depth Charge
Syndra's Force of Will (thrown object)
Xerath's Rite of the Arcane
Ziggs's Mega Inferno Bomb (while over the map)
The following projectiles are not destroyed when they hit Wind Wall and their units will drop to the ground beside the wall:
Azir's Conquering Sands and Emperor's Divide
Fizz's Chum the Waters
Jinx's Flame Chompers!
Olaf's Undertow
Orianna's Command: Attack
Zed's Living Shadow
Zilean's Time Bomb
Now here it goes a list of things that get destroyed by Wind Wall even if they don't look like projectiles (I will investigate other confusing skills/attacks that you guys point out).
Vel'Koz Rift (W), what gets blocked it's the "knife" used to cut the rift open so the rift will exist and stop at Wind Wall's location
Vel'koz knockup (E), as before you can see in the animation and read in the tooltip that there is something that travels from Vel'koz to the selected area and that is what gets stopped
Braum's Glacial Fissure (R) produces a shockwave that travels on ground level. It's not really hinted in the tooltip but it's coded as an "object" with a travel time so it falls into the projectile category and it makes some sense (debatable but a shockwave is the closest thing to what Braum's Ultimate does).
Viktor's Laser (E) is blocked for the (rather illogical) coding of its traveling on the ground producing explosions at different location. Imagine it as a really fast laser machinegun.
The following skills are not blocked by WInd Wall even if their visual is projectile-like.
Malzahar's Call of the Void (Q) it's a linear AoE skill thus it's visual is misleading showing it as a projectile
The following skills suffer from skill coding that doesn't consider "large skills" as a multitude of projectiles but as a single one causing the illogical resul of the entire skill to be destroyed.
Ezreal (R)
Nami (R)
Talon (R)
Note: Contrary to this, Azir's Ultimate has it's soldiers coded and single entities menaing that if a soldier isn't hit by the wall he will travel the entire distance even if other soldiers are stopped. So there is hope for a more realistic outcome if Riot puts their hands on them.
Edit: Here is the link to the wiki page of Wind Wall which I used as main source for informations. In this thread I highlighted the skills I consider more confusing and unusual about their interaction with WInd Wall, the wiki page has the full list if you want to check it yourself.
