not an assertion I happen to subscribe to, but you're welcome to believe anything that suits you.

  1. whats w the pic

  2. this would screw up high elo matchmaking even more than it is already, and at lower elos the risk of this happening is so low it's pointless anyways you're saying that people who get blocked by a lot of summoners at high elo don't deserve to play games, right sort of like the tribunal my issue with that is that people mute for pretty minor things, even at high elo and this would just impact matchmaking more than it does game quality at the elos where you actually start running in to people again and again

  3. your post is gibberish to me and i know every word you used don't use big vocab for no reason please it makes you look so pretentious and just makes reading comprehension difficult when the words are used incorrectly

A mistaken interpretation of combinations.

You have ten marbles: Two of them are red and two of them are blue. You may not match the red with the blue.

How many possible combinations remain?

well considering you need 10 marbles to hold a match.. if even 1 is red its impossible to have a match because you cannot put the red marble with the blue marble that blocked them unless being on opposing team is okay.

Additionally a marble that is blocked will likely block a person themselves.

Also this system would also punish those who do the blocking.

The interpretation of punitive measure is incorrect: The red and blue marbles may not appear on the same side.

so a red marble simply can't play at all and nor can anyone else in that scenario

But seriously though. you get longer queue times for each person you report.

It would be too easy to see who is higher than you in your division when you are at the top and just block people who are better. You would onlky end up playing lower mmr people and end up cruising to the top of the ladder

That's an interesting interpretation of the mechanics. I'd like to propose another view: If you choose not to play against better players, you won't end up in a group of better players.

More specifically, I have no problem with assassins hunting the weak in their domain, and consider that to be an integral part of the sorting process.

I'm also pretty sure that harvesting lower-level players will cause your MMR to settle with small gains and large losses. That is to say those who wish to live an a world of poor competition get their dream by living in the lower-MMR tiers.

You comment about assassins hunting the weak is out of place. Someone could not reach challenger by playing diamond people only and the list of master tier players is small enough to easily block them all. When the reason for being challenger is beating all diamonds and master tier on a regular basis it wouldn't be fair if someone abused their blocks just to get there by only beating people below them. You may be diamond 2 and that's better than most but if you just three divisions or more by blocking better people it's not healthy

Over the course of 60+ Bronze games, I've been matched against a variety of opponants and scored about +21 LP for wins and -11 LP for losses.

So the theory is that summoner is moving toward a different group of players where a more evenly matched group will award closer to even ups and downs, the natural settling point of a climb.

But the wins vs losses count in that history is such that the points awarded are a martingale that doesn't appear to describe movement toward that destination.
