Who else thinks it's funny that in ranked matches one team clearly outranks the other, but riot calls it "evenly matched"? Let's play fair riot. I think the matching system needs to be improved.

Even if we assume that ranking matches are NOT fair....you have an equal chance of being on the strong team as on the weak team. While a specific game may be one sided, the ranked system is supposed be fair on averages, not every case.

If there is a rank discrepancy, the system compensates by giving the team with lower rank higher rewards for winning and lower penalties for losing and vice versa.

The alternative is 10 minute queue times as the game matches you perfectly

If you're playing against a team where your chances of winning are projected at 30%, and you win 3 out of 10 games against that team, your Elo won't change.

The system corrects for underdogs. It's significantly more sophisticated than +X for win, -X for loss, contrary to popular belief.
