I recently opened a chest a received a rare gemstone along with a champion shard I think. I just realized that I could consume it to get a chest and key or I could save it to get a ward skin for 5 gems or the Hextech Annie, Soulstealer Vayne, or Dreadnova Darius for 10 gems. The problem is, I'm not sure if I should save it to eventually get the Hextech Annie skin, or just consume it for a chest and key. What do you guys think?
I've only earned one gemstone since this stuff was introduced, so I'm guessing by around 2040 i'll have enough for hextech annie
I just use them for chest and key, im not optimistic enough to think that i will ever get 10 gemstones.
There's also a new Hecarim loot exclusive coming out next patch.
Basically, if you really want one of those skins, save it. If not, just get the chest + key
There are events for those skins sometimes, but you dont need Chest and Keys that badly do you?
I've just been holding onto them in case they release a 10 gemstone skin I really like. I feel like it's better for me than playing the RNG box.
If you really just want something now though, there's nothing wrong with taking the chest and key.
i have 7 of them from being lucky :D never dreamed of having any more than like 2 lol.
lmao just turned my gemstone in to an key and a chest and in the chest i got a gemstone an ugly fiddle skin and another pair of chest and key
IMO chest and key, but that's because I don't play Vayne or Annie much.
