Champion.gg - Gragas Jungle Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

Gragas is having a rough time in every lane, the nerfs have caught up to him and it time that he got some love. The E nerf has made him so frustrating to play and I think there should be a happy middle from how it was and how it is now. You guys know best tho.

Also I am happy that he finally got a skin after a long time but a LUNAR GAURDIAN GRAGAS skin would have been amazing, tattoos and a long beard, rito pls.

He needs a mini-rework because we are dealing with standard situation since his rework: kit so powerful on it's own that when Gragas's numbers are OK he instantly becomes S/A tier and crowds out other picks. When he gets even minimal nerf he suddenly becomes one of the worst picks possible (as we see now), it's happening literally since Season 5.

His kit's overall philosophy is OK, it has counterplay, rewards people that take time to learn him, it let's do some awesome stuff that takes practice and skill to pull off, almost everything can be avoided or canceled, skill order varies depending on matchup (trait that is rarely seen in this game anymore), numerous different build paths, thematically works well with the champion. It just suffers from utility abundance (3x hard CC, self heal, damage reduction all in one champion) and safety when he goes Tank.

I'm a big Gragas player (hell yeah Mastery 7 Graggy), but what is he supposed to be ? I mean, a burst mage, a tank, or an "AP juggernaut" ? I always play him full AP assassin style because it's fun (and a bit broken), but built tank, he's also really strong
