Destroyed MMR

Simple question. I was earning 30 points per game, at silver 1. My mmr according to op.gg and various other websites was around the platinum 5-4 range.

My brother started playing again after 2 years, and has lost a lot of his skill. Needless to say, we duo queued together and lost an amazing amount of games, and I dropped to bronze 1. I now earn about 15 points per game, and lose 20 per loss. My winrate which was once around 65% is now at 42%.

Here is the question: Is it possible in any way to get this account up to diamond? Or is the MMR permanently damaged due to queuing w my bro and losing so many games?

Should I start a new account? I would hate to not get my main to diamond because I have so many skins... but winning a few games in a row I'll only get 45 points, but if I lose 3 games I'm down 60 lp. Is this possible to fix??? Or is this account destroyed?

Make a new account and practice VS higher MMR

Play at a consistent level on your smurf at D5 - D3

Come back to your Silver 1 account at the end of the season, salvage the MMR.

On your smurf, Pick your main role, have 2-3 MAIN champions and on your sub role ( secondary ) play 2 champs that are mechanically simple.

Diamond+ can hold at least 70% win rate on Gold. 65% minimum Plat. Depending on which Diamond tier you are and how good you are. Some people get Diamond in different ways ( abusing Annie only, Malz support only, Teemo ) etc.

Also before you start playing on your main again ( Silver 1 ) bring another smurf duo to ensure you raise that MMR. If anything you'll hold a 80% win rate up to Gold 1 if you guys are good enough.

End the season with normal MMR and Diamond border on your main with skins. Done.

It's possible to salvage anything, but it just takes time. You'd have to consistently win games (to where you have way more than you've lost) on that account to get it to where you want, but starting a smurf is always a way to do it too.
