Tahm support starting item

Hello, I was just curious what people bought. I normally get for good mana regen so I can harass in lane. Do most of you get ? What are you thoughts on which item is best?

TahmKench is more flexible than the average support when it comes to picking support items. I personally prefer Relic Shield, since it's perfect in helping him get tanky right from the start (it also turns into bonus damage come level 6), but if you're up against a really pokey lane Ancient Coin also works pretty well, especially since the healing will work well in conjunction with his Grey Health in soaking up a lot of damage over time. If you're feeling adventurous and want to go for a more all-in, damage-oriented playstyle, you could even try item 3303 (Tahm scales pretty well with AP), but I'd recommend Relic Shield a lot more.

I always go with Relic Shield just because I don't usually run out of mana until the enemy is dead or we are and the extra health/healing is nice.

My games are always like this:

First buy: Relic Shield and 2 health and mana pots. I usually waste the health pots and the mana pots are untouched. First back: I always buy Sightstone and trade out my warding trinket for the Sweeping Lens and the real fun begins.

Ideally, you don't want to be running out of mana/spamming your skills. You poke as best you can and save your ADC when needed. Once you get to level 6 and start building health, his kit becomes easier to play with.
