Why you should care about DQ.

It is diminishing your accomplishments on the ladder. To all of you posting these "yay! i finally made X rank" threads, I have news. It is DQ that is causing your climb, and not you actually playing better.

It is driving away competitive players, which leads to their accounts decaying and making it even easier to climb without even being good. Ask yourself if it matters to be at the top of a pool of players who are just abusing a numbers advantage to win games.

It will eventually lead to longer queue times, decreased match quality, and it will take all meaning away from the ladder, making it a measure of luck more than anything else.

It is killing this game, and very quickly. The last company to try something like this was blizzard, and wouldn't know you it? their game (WoW) never recovered. It is a shell of its former self.

Even casuals will eventually feel the ill effects of this, since the term casual will no longer mean anything, since everyone will be casual, reguardless of weather they want to be or not.

Riot is only doing this for money. Allow players who cannot climb to do so, and they will be more likely to buy skins. Sure, you've alienated the core player base, but who cares so long as you keep those new players thinking they are good and buying skins.
