Support malz =D
So i play primarily mid malz (unranked scrub here), occasionally testing the waters with support or ADC. However since i play almost exclusively mid, myy brother becomes frustrated as he enjoys playing liss and LB, but usually doesn't get the chance with me around. Then a friend suggested i take malz bot sup.
I don't think its viable in a ranked or professional setting, but for my level of play its an absolute blast. Poke and zone with Q and E, out trade most scuffles, and once 6 hits the kills are real. Takes a bit to learn to split the kills, and ive found starting sightstone for vision and morellos for CDR to be my best option. Running scaling HP seals, hybrid pen marks, scaling MR glyphs, and spell vamp quints.
So far poor matchups have included draven (he trades just as hard as you, often harder), thresh (i might just be bad here), and to some extent cait (there were a couple i could bully to no end). Good matchups surprisingly enough for me were against heal comps. Between zoning and denying the ADC farm (often times forcing a back before level 3), and the near constant poke of Q and E, the likes of sona, nami and janna just couldn't keep up the sustain. My first game was against a support shaco and he absolutely hated me, had almost no presence the entire games.
Notable weaknesses of the strat include, but are not limited to a lack of ability to peel for your ADC, and the choice between supp summoners and standard flash/ignite. More often than not we got greedy poking at them under tower to have vi or riven come in and nearly wipe us out. They rarely left unscathed but the simple fact was this lane has been excellent practice for me and my friends in map awareness, vision and callouts. Roaming has also proven to be very beneficial with this lane, often times baiting into dragon or grabbing an overextended mid with ult Ive been taking flash/ignite for kill lane potential, but the lack of supportive summoner spells can be felt quite often.
What do you think? i find the playstyle incredibly fun, and slightly toll, but not incredibly OP.
