Advice?

So I'm playing a match of Jax and I decide to backdoor the two open inhibitors. I had vision on everyone except Teemo (Fed) so I decide farm their Red Buff side of JG, untIL I see him. I tell m come hy team to distract others and stop them from backing when I engage on the Inhibitors, but Ziggs thinks decides it's good idea to come help me and brings 3 enemies with him. He leads them to me so I hide in a bush and wait for him to lead them away. Instead he leads to me. At this point I had no idea what to do. I wasn't if we could take the 3 people or not (we were a sated Jax and half health Ziggs). I decide to run and the enemies team gets a double. Is there anything I couldve done in that situation? Thanks. Sorry if I was just being stupid BTW.
