Why this is happening

Hi everyone,

I am a bronzy and I have tried to climb up. But it was not successful. I have played about 50 ranked games, and I think I am going to quit league because I just can't climb up. However, in one matchmaking, I was playing Kha'Zix jg and my opponent is a Yi who is in GOLD 5!! I basically carried the whole game and we won. After the match, I looked at the replay and I don't even think that Yi deserves Gold(just my opinion). So, now I'm confused, I can even 1v1 a gold player, then why I can't climb up? I mean, I think that my potential is high enough to climb up. I'm not asking u guys how to climb up, but why this is happening and can I actually climb up?

You were facing hat Yi in normals, not ranked. So I'm really confused as to what you're getting at. You're trying to be deceptive and lead us to think you were playing agianst a gold player in soloQ, which you werent

I know this is not a ranked game but u know that you can check who you recently played with. It is on the section where your friends are located. I basically looked at that yi's profile and it showed me that he's in Gold 5.

When you are playing placement games, the system tries to place you in the league it thinks you belong in. If you have never played ranked before, it might be a rough ride. It will even out eventually, so just keep playing games and read guides, watch streamers or watch YouTube guides made by pros. Good luck! :)

Almost a year ago I started playing it in August last year

50 games isn't enough to get out of bronze it took me around 100 maybe mainly because smurfs were up against my teammates and me but I improved to get out of bronze/silver, you'll get out of there as you keep playing/improve yourself.
