I have been maining gnar for around a year now and i have to says his the most fun champion in league ive played. but when you have a look at his health armour well any of his natural scalling it is so pathetic that adcs and mages have higher health and armour and many more ratios over gnar. he has to be almost the worst scalling in all champs in game. i wont stop playing him his too fun. but honestly why is he so weak
Its true but good luck posting this here, you're going to get swarmed by the garen/morde mains around here and told that your champ takes no skill and is uncounterable (basically anything that is a bad matchup for them).

As a Gnar main, i need this. His only good use in fights is his incredible cc like stuns and slows. But man hes really squishy, even in mega Gnar form he doesn't last very long with assassins and people like Nasus. (Nasus was hard enough, now this buff wtf)
Gnar has weak base stats because he gains more in mega form. However, as a fellow Gnar main, it does get annoying when you build tank items. But still get bursted down. It's a good reason to take grasp of the undying, with overgrowth and conditioning to help make up for some of the stats. Otherwise, a base armor and Mr growth would also be nice
Buttt the second he is strong, every pro picks and makes him broken, thus causing him to get nerfed again.

Yeah the biggest problem I feel is he is far too squishy. It's downright ridiculous how easy it is for him to blow up now even in mega form.
I really hate despise this burst meta so much.
Alot of the issues with gnar has to do with tanks really not being played atm, he cant bully these new bruisers the same way as he could moakai. Not to mention they can pretty easily kill him.
He needs the meta to shift back to tanks

His kit is oppressive when he's good. When he's strong, top lane is reduced to "who can deal with Gnar's bullshit in lane the best?".
His base stats are like that because he's a squishy marksman who can transform into a tanky beast with a shitton of burst. Mini and Mega Gnar have separate health stats/scaling to other champions.
well he is squishy in mini gnar and tanky as fuk in mega gnar
he cant be both in both forms
