Question about Draft pick (Normal)

In an earlier game, I was 3rd pick, i stated my preference as mid, and the 2nd pick guy flamed at me when i picked a mid laner, saying that he had pick order and he was going to be mid. We picked at the same time, so I honestly didn't see where he was right, but other people were backing him up. Is that how it is supposed to be? Like if two people pick at the same time, the person above you gets to pick first?

yeah, highest person gets pick order even if you pick at the same time. That's just how it is. [zombie-brand-clap]

if alls you can do is go mid, go mid.. who cares.. When I see people fighting like this on my team i actually find it funny.
