Smurfs everywhere

In my recent games it seems like the victory is just decided by whichever team has a smurf (or whichever team has the most smurfs). I guess through some law of statistics, the enemy team is inherently more likely to have a smurf by 20% because you already make up 20% of your team and you aren't a smurf.

But yeah, in the last few days I've been against a d3 Renekton (who said sorry in the post game screen and added me, offered to duo and some advice), a masters Garen (who unashamedly linked his Twitch in the post champ select screen), and some riven/ yasuo/ leblanc smurfs to boot.

Let's say a game is taking 25-50 minutes of your time. Losing a game in itself isn't a big deal, but you're doubling the time investment to try and get the lp back you lost, and this process can go on forever.

I know I'm flogging the dead donkey, and the thread is kinda pointless and will probably get a negative reception because most people smurf or because there's nothing practical that can be done about it. But Jesus it's frustrating as hell to go into a game trying your utmost hardest and getting beaten down into a pulp by someone playing at a much higher level, and having team mates flame/ harrass you (or whoever's laning against Mr. Smurf) for the game.

I just felt like I had to have a whine about this because I was frustrated, and I guess the forum is as good an outlet as anywhere.
