Tristana Ability Scalings

So, Tristana is an AD attack speed heavy tower destroyer who can snowball like no ones business. My only question is why ALL of her damaging abilities scale off of AP when shes an ADC. her jump being magic, fine. thats not used for damage anyway. Bomb is mixed, okay sure. But her ult is ONLY magic damage. Early game its a decent execute since bot lane isnt going to be running too much in the way of resist, but late game its a disengage at best. otherwise its just better to auto instead. theres no incentive to use it for damage like say, a graves or ezreal. Was it just forgotten, or was it to keep her from being too ridiculous, despite late game you not having a decent ult to use outside of running.

to try to appease a really old fanbase is all. Plus her jump and ulti are really just repositioning/escape tools or early game all-in tools. Her lategame is all about Q.

She's free to build a lot of ad since she doesn't need much attack speed (since her q gives a stat boost of like 110%). Her being able to utilize that ad on her abilities as well on her criting long range autos would be pretty op. Also, rage blade used to be a core item on her so she was able to utilize that nicely and she hasn't been updated in a long time

That's what makes Trist R so good though. It stops dashes and stops divers.

I agree it doesn't hurt much though, in comparison with other ADC ults which all get really high base damage/scalings (Ashe Caitlyn Ezreal ), but it's utility is far better.

Trist still needs some improvements to fix up her kit with how incredibly fragile her Early game is that it does not make it up with her Late game.

A fun cheese strat is Trist mid, to abuse your absurdly high fully charged E damage. Start Q, poke with autos, get E second, then W, then assuming you're both at about 70% health, get as close as you can, E+Q+autos+W+autos+ignite is almost always a guaranteed kill. The bomb does like 250 damage.

I mention that because it's not Trist's damage making her early weak, it's that she takes too much damage trying to charge E. So it's not her damage that needs a buff, but probably her early game base health/armor.
