Fiora Rework Issues/Ideas
I'm unsure if this is the correct place to post these, However I'm starting to doubt the capabilities of these reworks to accomplish what's desired/what champions actually need.
The entire rework seems to lead towards minor decisions and tricks to mirror the damage of old Fiora, and to attempt to keep her in roughly the same role/mindset as pre-rework. The largest issues I see with here are very simple. #1, Defensively. The removal of her Grand Waltz, the ability to disjoint and survive(Often lifesteal to full hp) has been removed. Overall, solid change, yet the scaling on her Q/Passive(R)/E(Crit modifier) Is entirely geared towards stacking massive AD, leaving little room to build defensively to mitigate the loss of such a potent disjoint. I'm intentionally choosing to ignore the possible damage/lifesteal comparisons as her ult is both better and worse than Grand Waltz depending on how you look at it.
This is very easy to solve, and with the removal of an abundance of free stats (Repost giving AD, Burst of speeds attack speed) Higher base lower scaling on her entire kit doesn't seem unreasonable, and not a direct buff or nerf to the champion. It simply opens up more build paths and optimization throughout the game to warrant picking her over her similar counterparts (
) who have the versatility in item paths.
The last thing I see as a possible issue with her kit is her E. Overall it seems in a fairly reasonable place, however on an auto attack reset, one that provides a slow/crit/attack range(I believe) I see no reason to add a 50% attack speed buff to it. The crit feels lazy, and just adds to more of her "
" style build path, simply for more ad. My thoughts on this would be to reduce the potential damage on her passive(R). Remove the attack speed bonus(making it a more valuable stat), and make the second hit attack twice(instead of crit) From the direction you're facing, and from the opposite direction. (Procing the passive on her ult, potentially twice, however honestly unlikely considering the first hit will have proc'd it already) And opening another avenue of skillful play, while reducing the pure bully she's looking at providing against tanks.
