Thoughts on Nidalee from a Semi-Nidalee main.

Heya everyone so i'm only a plat 5 90 lp scrub might get higher towards the end of the year but anyways i've played a nice amount of nidalee this season about 100 games. My problem is.... Why are we still nerfing Nidalee? This champion is picked less in competitive play than ever before and doesn't currently have a winning record from my mind. Her winloss in plat+ is 49.81% before the autoattack reset was removed. will likely stay around the same. I understand Nidalee clears the jungle amazingly fast boosting the 6th best jungle CS and 2nd best counter jungling cs. Shyvanna tends to out CS wayyyy harder than her and scales fairly well if not built full glass cannon. My problem is are we just gonna keep nerfing a champion who isn't even broken? Sure she clears insanely fast and has good map pressure but so does Shyvanna amd Shyvanna even has a higher win rate. Nidalee has had most of her mechanical play changed so being a great and a good nidalee isn't much different anymore. I just don't wanna see nidalee get Olaf'd as she is a really fun control jungler to play and i believe she's pretty balanced based on winrate when the avg player base has 71 games on nidalee and the champion is still at a 49.81 winloss i think that's nice and balanced.

Honest question: Do you think shifting power from 2 autos to her spell is a Nerf? I suck mechanically and often didn't use auto reset at its best efficiency, so I found her way stronger after her last change. Was it a buff for low skill nidalees and a Nerf for experienced ones?

Yeah, in a way it was. I've only seen very few high elo Nidalee's abuse it, which was apparently a bug or at least not intended, and compensating in her straightforward play pattern seemed to have flattened her mastery curve a little bit.

Sorry for the late reply, Yes in general i think it was a slight nerf overall. Her clearing is about 3 seconds slower and she only got about 50-70 damage extra on her combo's. That's about a auto in difference which she'd get from the auto reset. Low skill nidalee's wouldn't notice as much but as a Nidalee who has played a lot of nidalee. It's a big deal to a lot of my combo's.

The last changes to Nid were straight up buffs. Her spears can take half your health bar again, just like when she was at her strongest ever. While she is a hard champ to master, that's no excuse for her being blatantly OP. She may be the strongest champ in the game currently with what she can do early and mid.

This isn't really true as they barely buffed her Q spear anyways overall she made up the damage she lost from the AA reset. But you'd use the AA reset more at a high skill level. The power was shifted and it feels like a slight nerf nidalee clears at about 3 seconds later.
