Making skins rentable to wear for a few games with blue essence (be)

When riot moved to BE and OE. I wanted to see rentals get addressed. what I would like to see is when you rent something, the shard remains in your inventory to be used for its discount should you like the champion/skin. If you chose to not use it to upgrade when the rental ends you are given BE or OE.

The idea you have is nice but the issue is having any skins rentable means that no one will buy them If the BE cost is low enough. I don't think that would fly with a company that uses skin sales as a part of its profit.

If they make it so you can only rent every skin once and only for 3 days you increase the chance that the person will buy that skin. You see by letting people rent the skins for 3 days they can test out the skin and if they like the skin by letting them use it they will likely play it a lot for the 3 days and make them get used to seeing the skin they like on the champion thus once the skin rental expires playing the champion without the skin will feel lackluster and increase the chance the sucker will buy the skin
