ranking up your zed

so i had a good ranked game with zed i had over 10 kills with 150 cs and we won and i only go an A+ how do you get an s with him? it just seems random sometimes i get an s sometimes an A+ i don't get it

You don't play him mid. Rank is determined by your performance in a role with a champion compared against EVERY player playing that champ in that role. Zed is currently meta, a "free win," OP, and a pick or ban in ranked. You have a lot of competition to go against to get that S on him in mid.

Or, as many people do, take him to a position he isn't used in and do reasonably well. Support Zed? If you can find a team willing to accept it then it wouldn't be very hard as I doubt many do it so the bar for performance will be quite low.
