The New Jungle

Ok, playing the new jungle a couple of times has been rough but a fun learning experience, the one thing i have noticed that has really began to annoy me is that if you play a squishy jungler, such as rengar, khazix, eve, lee sin, etc These champs early game have hard times clearly the camps as is, on the first buff with a leash is fine but after there it goes all down hill. Since champions like so stated above cannot take red and blue buff in one go since the increase in smite time, its just about impossible to get red and blue buff without going back. First playing this, this really set alot of junglers back since the jungle is so much harder to clear along with how much weaker the early game jungle items are. Now recently i went and played on a smurf I dont normally play on but was with my friend thats new to the game. So i got jungle and I have to say, this new jungle was hard enough with runes but without runes you literally cannot do a camp without going back, its absolutely ridiculous. I understand making the jungle harder but this is discouraging so many people to jungle because jungling was once a really fun role but now its so freakin hard to do anything. You basically have to make your mind whether or not to gank before you farm because you're sure as hell not going to gank after farming the jungle since you'll be under half health.

I've been having tons of success as well, but I tend to main sustain/mitigation tank junglers. I'm actually really happy with this jungle.

really glad they made it so if you get executed you keep your buffs, I have seen countless amount of people getting executed from this jungle

I've had a LOT of success in the new jungle with Lee Sin, though the learning process was tough. Rengar (for me) had a harder first clear, but picked up quickly and ended strong. I'm really worried about how this new jungle will affect Evelynn, considering she's extremely (extremely) squishy. She had a harder time in the old jungle.

It's all about the routes you take now. I've discovered with Rengar/Lee Sin/Udyr It's best to start at the double golems and smite those (so you can stun every few basic attacks.) It's really not as hard as everyone's making it out to be.

I'll have to try starting golems but I really like to start with bot lane for the better leash so if I am on purple side I wouldnt be able to leash with bot lane. Evelynn is just absolutely terrible clearing with, so squishy along with low amount of dmg, she might have the worst time of the junglers

The funny thing with the new jungle, and I have no idea why it's happening, but anytime I get a leash, they end up** over-leashing** and stay for three or four seconds too long which prevents me from being able to smite at the proper time, also making me take more damage. I thought that was kinda funny.

I've never had a problem with under-leashing. I've started at the Gromp on both sides as well as the double golems on both sides (and both of the buffs), and having a 1 man leash is just as effective as a two or even three man leash.

I haven't played eve in the jungle yet but she seems to be extremely weak, despite her strong ganks. I just can't imagine having much of a first clear with her.

New season, new metas, this needed to happen. At the end of every season people get repetitive with the same champs, routes, hanks etc.. This new jungle is perfect for opening the jungle to new, more sustain champs, that can't gank hella early leaving the lanes to fight for themselves. Dragon buff is so important that first time becuase 8% extra damage is huge.

I agree that it is tough for early jungles but i actually like that. This new jungle simultaneously solves 2 issues, in my opinion, its too hard early game and even throughout the game to allow for just any champion to jungle while it allows many builds and options for the champions that can handle the jungle.
