How do masteries even work, i recently stopped playing came back played a ranked game with my friend and i guess the system thought i slightly carried.

I died one time right before they surrendered and suicided in and i get an S-

My CS wasnt that horrendous either a 6.6/m

How do you all expect me to get my tokens if this happens smh

http://prntscr.com/ksezpo By far the most OBJECTIVE Damage in the game

http://prntscr.com/ksf08c Most Vision score not counting Supports, even though the score was pretty shit cause i didnt bother buying oracles that game.

You need a certain amount of cs/m to get an s or higher. I was once playing a champion and had a 1.7 kda and got an s+ because of my farm. If u wanna get s or higher you should go for cs not for kills.

CS is key, I used to run item 3085 on top lane ADC's (normals) and just farm all game. You can farm chests that way for easy S's.

Vision score and objective damage.

All the kills in the world mean nothing if you don't hit the turrets.

I had the same struggles as graves on my alt acct to get my M7. Big KDA & obj control, but I needed to hit 8.5 CS/min to get it. Had many games with similar scores but 8.5cs/min did it while 8.4/min was still S-. For some reason S- in the history shows as a blank

S game perfect KDA 13-0 with 240 / 28.3min = 8.5 CS/min https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2853285449/245972091?tab=stats Not sure what the vision score is with just showing wards placed (highest other than support) but had a fuckton of obj damage and lower on champ damage compared to the team

Game two below was S- with perfect KDA 15-0 with 268 / 31.75min = 8.4CS/min https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2852834227/245972091?tab=stats Higher on champ damage, still a shitton of obj damage and highest other than support for vision, higher KDA. Super comparable to the S game and the only real improvement is CS

KDA stops mattering once it gets to a certain point. Above average at 10-1-5 would be the same as 4000-1-30000, it doesn't make up for the other lacking areas

I dont think you'll get a better Grade threshold comparison than this

what about your objective participation? Just auto turrets once, whether u get the gold or not, if u get the assist on turrets it counts towards your S

The mastery grades are all sorts of FUBAR. Doing what is best to win the game is rarely what is best to get a grade. Supports and jungles can play their role amazingly and not get an S all the time just because their focus is not always on CS. But if I take a jungler or support and play mediocre but farm like hell I get an S almost every time. I would play Skarner jungle and either carry, or enable my team to dominate and go 10/1/12 and get A+ to S-, but then I ignore my team, farm up 250+ cs in a game go 2/2/8, lose the match and get an S or S+. Someone explain to me how that is right.

I had a game recently where I went 14/1/16 with Karthus mid. I got on A....even with the highest CS and vision score on the team, but the CS was only decent (not bad). But if I just farm all game and ignore the rest of my team I can get an S......

There needs to be a lot less weight put on CS for grades, especially junglers and supports, where their objectives are different than the rest of the players.

I won't even go into CS being part of grades in ARAM.......

not to rain on your parade but wouldn't you get a token anyway if you got an s- when at level 5?

Keep in mind that the way each stat is weighed is likely based off of stats from a different season playing in a different meta into a different champion matchup.

Essentially the stat page was an ambitious idea which falls very short in all of the predictable areas.

Getting S or S+ means you played that character as that role better than a majority of the playerbase, not how much better you did compared to other players in that specific game. How long into the game you started to do well plays into it as well, I think.

It sucks, but because jungle graves is so strong, and so popular, it's going to take a lot to get an S on him in that role.

I think if you'd gotten a bit more CS, and maybe one more kill it would have given it to you. Your 1 death wouldn't have affected it that poorly if you were going to get an S before that death.

mack91129/10/2018, 1:19:12 AM1 votes

To get an s as graves you have to play basically perfect

HaIlMonitor9/10/2018, 3:09:04 AM1 votes

Its probably because grave is brain dead so that is a slightly above normal score on him

GripaAviara9/10/2018, 7:40:21 AM1 votes

I'll tell you why S-:

Why - : CS, your teammate and opponent has more CS Why not + : KDA, Shen has better KDA than you and has 0 deaths, which again is a big factor in the algorithm having a teamate with a clean slate

I mean my first thought is that Graves is one of the most broken and overpowered characters in the game atm so performing in the 99th percentile as him is going to demand a lot.

I mean the character is a marksman/duelist/tank/jungler/fastclearinghighfarming/objectivesolomachine.

If you can't carry as graves then League isn't the right game for you. Talk about champion-privilege.
