Point to Click Knock Away + Knock Up AoE CC which can be cast together is what makes him good, on top of the fact that he can create good tower dives due to his early ultimate high 55% Damage Reduction which lasts 7 seconds.

That's why I still consider him a good support, his early game is really dominating once he hit's level 2 and he can zone enemies pretty well through this domination, assuming that if you do engage that your ADC would follow up.
