People just under appreciate the support a lot. You'd be surprised the number of times I have to report teammate for being toxic.
Had a game as Rakan where I didn't do well in lane (he's not a lane focused champion anyway), so my ADC was down. Late game though, I saw the enemy trying to group in the blue side opening to river near baron. Ult plus W gave me a 4 man knockup, into a 4 man Yasuo ult, into a 4 man Shockwave, into a Jax Quadra kill. "Good job Jax." Yep..... all Jax.... I totally didn't do anything to win that fight for us....
I had a game where I was practicing Alistar. Since I normally play range supports like Karma, Alistar is a complete change to me. I was still able to get my ADC like 6 kills in lane, and we were the only lane doing good in that game. My ADC appreciated my efforts, but the enemy jungler said I was bad cause I couldn't peel 3 fed people off my ADC in teamfights. Yeah, totally my fault. Not like I have 3 other teammates that could help with this or anything. Nope, all the supports fault.
The most annoying part of playing support is when you've been making calls all game, and yet your team doesn't listen to you at a crucial moment. I was playing Janna in a normal game. We took mid inhib and backed. A huge wave is forming top wave, so I ping OMW and ping assistance 3 times. Jungle came top clearing enemy jungle, top lane split pusher ran bot, and both mid and ADC ran mid. Entire enemy team engages on our two carries, both who die and then say, "Janna split pushing?" Really people? We already took mid. Either take bot tower or top, don't just AFK mid giving the enemy time to get back into the game. "We win teamfights, just finish down mid." Or come top, take tower, and engage while they are trying to defend said tower. I mean, I don't understand these people who do whatever they want, then get mad when you can't read their mind.
