Hello there!

I play the support role since the beginning of this season and worked pretty well! I start B1 and I managed to climb up S2. In less than 15 games and 12 hours, I drop to S4 (feel bad man's) and I ask ...

how can i climb as a support?

I main Braum with 120k mastery points, Mastery 7 and stuff, i look at map every 6 seconds (which is nice), i know when to engage or disengage, but I still lose too much most of my games , in my opinion. (loses 10 games in a row hurst)

Yes, sure, some people will tell me (do this to climb or do that to win easy) and some others will rather answer:

  • AH! u dumb bronze, u r the supp, u protect team, u win, scrub

How in the world, can i carry when i deal maximum 10k damage in a 40 min game, while some others stands at 40k or more.

I feel too dependent on others to won ...

Yes, Braum has a lot of CC, 'peel' , he's tanky and sometimes he's really annoying, but if my team falls behind, I feel useless, if my adc is struggling at farming or trading in general, I feel useless, if someone connects and then afk early in the game, well it's gg :\

Please, I would like to have help or a simple answer will make me happy!

Thank you in advance!

''sorry for bad English''

Sadly you cant really, unless part of a premade. Supports rely too hard on their teammates to win. So climbing as a solo, support is the hardest role to do it with. I would recommend either Top lane, because the champions are pseudo supports sometimes (Malphite Nautilus Trundle) or ADC because it is close to the support which you can use your knowledge to your advantage still.

Trying to climb with a tank/utility support in low elo is like rolling dice. It's all luck on how good your teammates are. You will never carry a bad team with Braum... unless the enemy is bad.

If you want to really climb in bronze/silver, you need to play a damage support. Probably a mage such as Annie, Brand, Lux, Morgana, Syndra, Zyra, etc. Some bruisers also work as kill lanes. If that's not your style, I suggest learning another role for climbing. If you like tanks, learn how to play them in top or jungle.

if you want to carry on support, you need to apply pressure around the entire map at the right times. This means roaming from bot lane when its appropriate to do so and making calls and directing your team towards the right decisions. Braum is a good champion to make plays on if your teammates know how to carry with their kills. If you find that you still can't carry, try picking up a mage support like brand/zyra and build dmg to carry.

Be good at support broadly speaking. Ward well so ganks are basically never successful and you can catch people out, peel well so you carrys stay alive, and look out for opportunities to make plays.

A lot of people feel like you need to build damage or choose certain aggro supports to effectively climb, but I climbed as a solo support player from silver to high plat as pretty much exclusively janna, who does minimal damage and little more than exceptional peel.

The key is to support the best person on you team who might be able to carry, which isna;t always going to be the adc. That said, you're the teams supports, not just the adcs support or just the skilled players support, so stopping other players from feeding via your peel can work wonders.
